Some unfortunate news. Airmail and EMS have been suspended for Canada. This Is particularly annoying because I had a large airmail shipment ready to go today, half of which was destined for Canada. I will be switching to Surface Mail, as I have been doing for the US and other countries with suspended airmail. Surface mail can take 2-3 months to deliver a package. There is also the option of Yamato Transport. I’ve been hesitant to offer it because it is a little more time consuming to prepare than Japan Post shipments. While they are fast, and reasonably priced when...

First, for people living in the US, airmail has kind of been restored, but there are a few catches. First, it’s only parcels below 2kg, good for a few average sized HGs or one average sized MG. The main catch is that there’s no insurance or tracking. On top of all of that, delays will still be expected. Honestly, I’m not going to use airmail for the US unless you guys request it. But, if anything it’s a good sign that things are heading in the right direction and that airmail and EMS might be back sooner rather than later....

I know that a number of you may have noticed that it's been taking me longer to ship orders and reply to emails. There's a reason for this, or actually multiple reasons. The first reason is obvious. Covid-19 has resulted suspensions and delays in the postal service, and has forced me to reship a ton returned items through surface mail. I'm still trying to catch up from that.
